App Design for Augmented Reality App

Overview

Mitsubishi Cooling and Heating needed an augmented reality application (AR app) to help their contractors and customers envision how their units would appear in their customer’s home.

With the creation of an interactive prototype, the client was able to experience the user flow firsthand and provide feedback on what would work best for the experience of their contractors. The visual designs helped to clarify the intentions of the low-fidelity prototype and, in collaboration with visual developers, a simulation app was used to allow the client to experience setting a heating or cooling unit on any type of wall.
